Steel-drums, PVC-stickers (smilies), flickering LED-light and sound
Twenty grey steel-drums, each marked with three yellow smiley faces, are grouped together. One of the drums has a crack in the side from where a flickering light is emitted. The same barrel also transmits electric sounding noises blended with a premix of familiar sounds undeniably recognisable as TV-commercials. The sound-track used is a mix of actual TV-commercials made and used to promote twenty substantial and well known South Koreans corporations. The selected corporations are also outstandingly representing the nation’s twenty worst environmental polluters.
